I just wanted to send a word of encouragement to a fellow Chicagoan. I’m a lesbian (also on the north side). I think the Center on Halsted is a good start, but hey, while you’re at it, why not get some of your friends (straight, gay, whatever) to go to a lesbian bar with you?
